In the pool by 7:25am.
- 1 x 1000 free
- 6 x 200 free pull/breast (alternating)
- 1 x 50 breast (thought i was cooling down)
- 1 x 250 free pull (cooldown to cap the workout at a cool 2500)
2500 yds/55ish minutes.
Thoughts: yay. 1000. This is definitely the longest continuous swim I’ve done since high school, although I’m not sure that I ever swam a full 1000 in high school either (not that I wasn’t capable of doing so–most races in HS are sprints; hence most practices revolve around shorter distances).
but yay, 1000. I swam an 800 last week. Hashtag gainz. 2500 is not the most I’ve done in a single workout, but it’s close. Felt so good stepping out of the pool. Tell myself that I have to remember this (feeling).
